Measure your own experience
Performance reports are useful comparisons, not promises for every PC. CPU, GPU, resolution, driver version and selected settings can all change the result.
Start with a repeatable test
Use the same busy scene, resolution and display mode when comparing settings. Change one group of settings at a time so you know what improved frame rate or image quality.
Practical tuning order
- Install current platform and graphics drivers.
- Choose a stable target frame rate for your display.
- Test upscaling and quality presets before making many small changes.
Report the full context
When comparing benchmarks, note the preset, resolution, upscaling mode and hardware. A headline frame-rate number without those details is not actionable.
